Questions about a small group or support group?

SMALL GROUP OR SUPPORT GROUP

We were created for radical connection—authentic and balanced relationships rooted in love and steeped in prayer. While small groups and support groups (in person and online) are outside our scope, we offer streamlined and easy-to-use resources for small groups with practical guidance every step of the way. We know pain and illness can make it difficult to participate in traditional small groups, so consider connecting by phone or via video calls.

If you’re looking for creative ways to connect with others and take it a little slower, invite a friend or loved one to choose a devotional post or free printable to read and discuss with you. Creative Ways to Use Chronic Joy Posts & Publications is packed with a wide variety of practical, easy ideas.

DEDICATED TO SERVING YOU

Chronic Joy is a global resource ministry dedicated to compassionately serving all those affected by chronic illnessmental illnesschronic pain, and disability that offers a wide range of accessible, easy-to-use, faith-based educational resources and publications.

Chronic Joy was founded to come alongside those who are lonely, isolated, hurting, or feeling forgotten about. One of our favorite programs (well-loved by our community) is You Get Mail! Several times a year, we send thoughtfully designed, old-school, #PenToPaper snail mail envelopes full of hope, encouragement, and new ways to think about illness and pain.

We also invite you to visit the Prayer Pond, where you can share your prayer requests and updates and include grateful praise. Our team loves to pray for each request.

Our website has a wealth of information; these quick links are a great place to start.

The Heart of Radical Connection

Radical connection isn’t about who we click with or are comfortable with, it’s about forming deep relationships, investing in those Jesus lays on our hearts to connect with on this leg of the journey.

Creative Ways to Use Chronic Joy Posts & Publications

Talking about the impact of chronic illness, mental illness, chronic pain, and disability on our lives can be incredibly difficult. Sometimes, we are unsure what we think or how we feel, either for ourselves or for our friends or loved ones.

Prayers to Help Us Connect

May you find courageous connections with these prayers, first with Jesus and then, by the power of the Holy Spirit, with another person for your journey.
