What is courageous kindness? Courage and bravery aren’t the lack of fear, it’s doing the hard, fearful things in spite of the fear.
My husband, Will, and I recently celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary. I look back with gratitude on the years we have shared together, and I thank the Lord for the blessings that we have experienced in our marriage affected by chronic illness.
I reached out my hand to help. The cycle of humility and sacrifice continued. At this moment, the hand-crafted God-sized lesson didn’t escape me.
This month’s Oasis of Hope explores experiencing the fullness of life. And for caregivers or those with chronic illness, it often seems impossible. But there is still a way to experience fullness of life, if we turn to God, remembering His great love for us.
