Cultivating Contentment

The world tells us to be proud of ourselves when we need no help from others. God is teaching me lessons in humility.
Sometimes, I feel like one of those unhealthy beanstalks, especially right now in a season of intense caregiving. I must physically stop and allow God to refuel me.
While we may lose a lot at the hands of a chronic illness, there are still things it cannot take from us. We can even thrive in new ways.
