Writing is a helpful way to practice self-care. These are not letters to send to others, but letters to express your thoughts and feelings.
Accepting help doesn’t mean you’re giving in to the illness. You’re simply giving your body what it needs. Remember you are not a burden.
It isn’t easy to accept and manage such changes, so be kind to yourself as you adjust and figure out ways to manage your new normal.
