Blessed In Dependence
We can either worry ourselves into despair or lean into the Lord’s help and care. For me, it’s a matter of admitting my desperate dependence on His strength and grace on both good days and bad.

Parents of chronically ill kids are the best people. They’re the best at encouraging without offering advice, at listening without trying to one-up with their own story. And they’re the best at offering empathy that comes from having walked a similar road. I could learn from these parents.
Did you know Jesus understands exactly what you are going through? He does. Jesus experienced excruciating pain, walked through temptation and even felt full separation from God when He took on our sins.
The persistent press of chronic pain makes me weary. Resting in God Himself – surrendering my fears and hopes to His will – offers a fresh perspective.
