Reframe It! Loneliness and Solitude
If I view solitude the same way I see loneliness, it produces a negative emotion in me, but when I think about solitude in the context of God’s Word, I know it can mean something much different.

As I reflect, is Christ real to me? Oh, yes! He is more real to me because of the twelve years of pain that necessitated the years of spiritual direction.
We know we will have troubles in this life. We need to be prepared. God’s Word is one of my most effective tools to prepare for hard days.
