When it comes to helping someone I love, I cannot control how another person seeks healing. So, I will be sharing the journey through the eyes of the one who loves and sees and keeps trying, the one who grows tired but still can look out over the soil of a relationship and dream about seeds.
The psalmist pleads with God. He brings his light and truth through his Word and his presence, which are the best way out of depression.
Where is God in depression? David begins, “How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?” Then he chooses trust.
Through the years of coping with depression, God has not eradicated it, but has powerfully sustained me through His Word and other Christians.
