Where is God in depression? David begins, “How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?” Then he chooses trust.
Through the years of coping with depression, God has not eradicated it, but has powerfully sustained me through His Word and other Christians.
This is the scourge of depression and anxiety: carrying burdens of guilt for a body off kilter. Yes, circumstances in my life, like turning forty and struggling with my identity since my kids have gone off to school.
