For my son, Jesse, TO BE HEALED in JESUS NAME! I know that GOD is bigger than anything that this world throws at us. As a mother we are worrying about our children. Please pray that my son gets the treatment he needs, the right doctors, and that they actually seem him. May God bless my son.

My sister in law has just given birth to a lovely son, but has discovered she has pancreatic cancer. Only 34 years of age, her son is two months old and is one of the best people I know. She has just started chemotherapy but is really struggling.

I'm kind of desperate for prayer just now. I have generalized dystonia, but have had other all-body symptoms for around 6 months that turned out to rheumatoid arthritis.
I have not begun any treatments yet, due to coronavirus, but my rheumatologist will do a tele-health visit on,Thursday.
Meanwhile, I'm just flattened with pain, inflammation, fatigue, headache, etc. I manage about an hour's activity every day, but my chores and exercise are lying undone.
I don't have a support system as all my family lives elsewhere.
My walk with Christ is profoundly deep: no worries there!
But the inflammation is coming in flares and is making me miserable. And my brain is so fogged I can't read or write.
My quality of life is quite poor now.
I'm not asking for any specific prayer, just that God is merciful to me. He will sovereignly decide what that is.
I want to praise God for his deep faithfulness. It is a never-ending joy to me.
Thank you. God bless all on here.

My grandson sorta went off the deep end all of a sudden he is 16 he started doing all kinds of things. Then he ran away from home because there was sooo much tension arguing? He started threatening his parents? Joined up with a gang ? The family has moved a lot out of stateS for fathers job! Sooo we managed to get him, went to a hospital, to a ranch where they care for troubled teens ! They say he has pre-manic symptoms and have him on drugs, which seems to help. He’s been in this facility for about 5-6 months and now they feel he’s ready to go home in a couple of days. His stepdad has been in the service 3 deployments, suffers from PTS. He could us our prayers also his name is Chris I pray they’re all ready? My daughter is very concerned. Of course there is lots of history, he left home because he said he hated he dad! They are getting ready to move into a home they just built ! Lots of prayer.

Would you like to offer a kind word, encouragement, an inspiring quote, or prayer to a fellow chronic illness traveller? On hard days when it seems almost impossible to take one more step, sometimes it soothes the spirit to extend ourselves a bit. Writing a note to a fellow traveller could be just that.
And it’s simple to do!
Stop by the Prayer Pond and as you read through the requests, when God tugs at your heart, pause and pray, then consider writing a note, card or letter to encourage that person too.
Who do you know that you could bless with a note of encouragement? Ask God who you could send a little #PenToPaper love, then just write from the heart – a scripture verse, an inspiring quote, a prayer, and/or a few few short sentences to brighten someone’s day. Social Distancing, Self-Isolation, & Quarantine The memes and the quips scrolled by me faster than I could keep up. It seemed that everyone had something to say about self-isolation, quarantine, lock-down, and the restrictions that were suddenly, with very little warning, thrust upon us. I hit the “like” button more times than I could count … Finally the rest of the world would...
Praying When we truly face the shape of our hearts, we can be overwhelmed by the lack that we feel. Sinful, weak, and weary are thoughts that easily come to mind as we carry such weights from our days. But we have a Father who loved us so deeply that He sent His Son to be our Savior in those weakest places. Our Savior felt every weakness we have ever faced, and took them all to the cross for...
Anxiety and Shame in Chronic Illness The day was sunny and beautiful as we drove into the parking lot, but I did not feel much beauty in my heart. In fact, sudden tears rose unbidden to the surface as the medical center came into view. I had been to this same parking lot many times in the past year, but I had carefully kept my back turned to the door that led to the Infusion Center....

Discover a spiritual path consisting of three stepping-stones: Solitude (learning not to be alone but to be alone with God); Silence (the discipline by which the inner fire of God is tended and kept alive); and Prayer (standing in the presence of God with the mind in the heart).
Ruth Haley Barton
Do you long for a deep, fundamental change in your life with God? Do you desire a greater intimacy with God? Spiritual disciplines are activities that open us to God’s transforming love and the changes that only God can bring about in our lives. This book takes you more deeply into understanding seven key disciplines along with practical ideas for weaving them into everyday life.
Christians are taught in their churches and schools that prayer is the most powerful way to experience God. But few receive instruction or guidance in how to make prayer genuinely meaningful. In Prayer, renowned pastor Timothy Keller delves into the many facets of this everyday act.
This collection of short stories, reflections, and poems from Jill Briscoe centers on the theme of our relationship with God, and how that relationship must be our daily priority in good times and bad.
