UPDATE on my sister-in-law, Ruth. Her first few days home from the hospital were rough as she had trouble with some meds. That's been cleared up now and as of today she is feeling better, slowly regaining strength. She has a home health care nurse check on her several times a week and also physical therapy. Please pray for continued healing and strength. Thank you!

I have battled depression for an extremely long time. It includes anxiety and panic. I was stable for quiet some time, until recently coming off the medicine and having to almost immediately be put back on.
I’m grateful to God that He has His healing hands on you and I. Also, for His grace and mercy through this process. I’m asking for prayers please for His divine healing and restoration in my mind and body. It has been a rough five weeks so far trying to feel well and stable. Please also pray for a family healing.
Thank you so much and God bless you.

My partner, Emma, is the most depressed I have ever seen her. I am part of the problem, so she can get no solace from me. I can only pray that this leaves her.
Please pray for her to feel better and more encouraged about the future.
Please pray for me, so that I can be the person she needs and deserves.

Someone just prayed for you. The hour was late, and I was feeling the weight of pain as I rushed to get ready to leave. Yet another medication, along with the disease itself, had caused strange side effects for me. But this time, the on-call nurse told me to get into the ER as soon as I could. This particular reaction was one to be taken very seriously. I sent off a few quick prayer...
Leading Are you someone who enjoys planning your calendar weeks and months ahead? My days used to be full that way. Oh, I still have a digital calendar where I keep track of important appointments. But ever since chronic illness came upon the scene, I am much better at keeping a “To-Done-List” (no matter how small it might seem,) instead of a “To-Do-List.” When the days ahead seem to be...
An Invitation from Jesus - Come with Me to a Quiet Place The headlines shouted across the glaring screen, and my heart dropped lower than I thought it could go. It seemed that for a moment I felt the weight and the sadness of the world crashing upon me. But in the next moment I heard a whisper, stronger than the weight, deeper than the sadness: “Then, because so many people were...

Discover a spiritual path consisting of three stepping-stones: Solitude (learning not to be alone but to be alone with God); Silence (the discipline by which the inner fire of God is tended and kept alive); and Prayer (standing in the presence of God with the mind in the heart).

Do you long for a deep, fundamental change in your life with God? Do you desire a greater intimacy with God? Spiritual disciplines are activities that open us to God’s transforming love and the changes that only God can bring about in our lives. This book takes you more deeply into understanding seven key disciplines along with practical ideas for weaving them into everyday life.
Christians are taught in their churches and schools that prayer is the most powerful way to experience God. But few receive instruction or guidance in how to make prayer genuinely meaningful. In Prayer, renowned pastor Timothy Keller delves into the many facets of this everyday act.
This collection of short stories, reflections, and poems from Jill Briscoe centers on the theme of our relationship with God, and how that relationship must be our daily priority in good times and bad.
