Might I selfishly ask that you keep me in your prayers right now. I became very unwell with mental illness in January and fell out of work with this this in March. I am suffering with intense anxiety and depression and feel that my ability to appreciate 'hope' and 'faith' have been completely diminished. I always turned to the Lord but right now I feel that he is nowhere to be found. Please pray that my suffering is soon eased and I am able to offer my gifts to others.
Thank you kind people,

Please pray for my two sons. One is 31 and severely disabled. He does not sleep any longer and has begun having self-injurious behaviors. My other son became ill at 24 and 2 years later is still suffering from the chronic effects of 6 surgeries to try to heal the problem. Now it appears that the same problem is beginning again on the other side of his body despite one side not yet being healed. I don't want this to shake my family's faith either. Please pray for healing and strengthening of our family. Many thanks dear friends in Christ.

Please pray for my beloved daughter Sierra (late 20s), who is struggling with PTSD ... from a trauma & various betrayals and disappointments in her past, which is affecting her relationship with the Lord, with others, and with those who love her most.

My fiance has korikoff syndrome which is alcoholic dementia. Everyday the drinking continues and more memory is lost. My fiance can barely walk from the bed to the couch and can't remember things I've said 5 mins. Prior. I've been told by doctors that even if the drinking stops at this point the damage is permanent we can only hope to prevent further damage. After a year and rehab my fiance gave up after getting worse instead of better and relapsed back into beer. Now I've become a caregiver and feel so lost. I feel like I pray everyday for healing and help and receive no answer, its been so long with so much false hope with disappointment I'm starting to loose faith. I love and try so hard everyday but feel so hopeless.

Please pray for my friend, Andy, who has chronic depression and possibly other chronic issues. He needs salvation and he really needs help with his mental health. He is my ex-boyfriend, and he decided to walk away from our relationship in part because I have Chronic Lyme, and he does not believe in it. Please pray that God would soften his heart and his pride.

I am suffering with severe cfids/me. The brain fog is getting worse and I need prayer for the chronically loud, torturous ticking & ringing in ears from Tinnitus. I also suffer with head & body pain. I am bed/sofa bound. Thank you for each & every prayer on my behalf too.

I am asking for prayers for my beloved brother. He suffered a massive stroke last September, 2019. He is a diabetic and is now on dialysis. He has been on a trach and feeding tube. While recovering he has been transferred 3 times from short term nursing facilities because of inadequate care. While at recent nursing home he was diagnosed with Covid 19 virus and transferred to the hospital with penumonia. We are heartbroken that we can't be with him and all we can do is pray.

Please pray for my marriage. I have dealt with chronic illness since 2014. My husband and I have been married since 2013. He has decided to walk out on me and our family. He wants to be happy and away from me he says he has less anxiety and anger. Please pray for restoration for our marriage. I also pray that he will look to God.

Please pray for my dear writing friend, Terry. She has dealt with chronic illness and pain for over 20 years, and just lost her husband, her primary caregiver, to Covid-19. Would you pray for God's comfort and strength during this great loss she is suffering? Thank you.

Someone just prayed for you. The hour was late, and I was feeling the weight of pain as I rushed to get ready to leave. Yet another medication, along with the disease itself, had caused strange side effects for me. But this time, the on-call nurse told me to get into the ER as soon as I could. This particular reaction was one to be taken very seriously. I sent off a few quick prayer...
Leading Are you someone who enjoys planning your calendar weeks and months ahead? My days used to be full that way. Oh, I still have a digital calendar where I keep track of important appointments. But ever since chronic illness came upon the scene, I am much better at keeping a “To-Done-List” (no matter how small it might seem,) instead of a “To-Do-List.” When the days ahead seem to be...
An Invitation from Jesus - Come with Me to a Quiet Place The headlines shouted across the glaring screen, and my heart dropped lower than I thought it could go. It seemed that for a moment I felt the weight and the sadness of the world crashing upon me. But in the next moment I heard a whisper, stronger than the weight, deeper than the sadness: “Then, because so many people were...

Discover a spiritual path consisting of three stepping-stones: Solitude (learning not to be alone but to be alone with God); Silence (the discipline by which the inner fire of God is tended and kept alive); and Prayer (standing in the presence of God with the mind in the heart).

Do you long for a deep, fundamental change in your life with God? Do you desire a greater intimacy with God? Spiritual disciplines are activities that open us to God’s transforming love and the changes that only God can bring about in our lives. This book takes you more deeply into understanding seven key disciplines along with practical ideas for weaving them into everyday life.
Christians are taught in their churches and schools that prayer is the most powerful way to experience God. But few receive instruction or guidance in how to make prayer genuinely meaningful. In Prayer, renowned pastor Timothy Keller delves into the many facets of this everyday act.
This collection of short stories, reflections, and poems from Jill Briscoe centers on the theme of our relationship with God, and how that relationship must be our daily priority in good times and bad.
