Prayer Ministry

Prayer Pond

Prayer is the heartbeat of Chronic Joy Ministry.

Welcome to the Chronic Joy® Prayer Pond, where you can share your prayer requests, updates, and shouts of praise. At Chronic Joy, we’re passionate about prayer. That’s why we extend a warm invitation to pray for this ministry, for those affected by chronic physical and/or mental illness, and for each prayer request tossed into our Prayer Pond. Whether a request, praise, lament, suffering, loss, hope, grief, or joy, each prayer ripples far beyond this day and the boundaries of our world.

How often we hear, “Prayer is the least I can do,” when in reality, prayer is the most we can do. As we connect with our Heavenly Father and with one another in prayer, our serving hearts both grow and thrive.

Prayer Pond

You are a precious, vital member of the Kingdom of God and of this community. We’re glad you’re here. Grateful for your presence. Blessed to lift you in prayer.

May God bless you and keep you today and always.

“For where two or three come together in my name, there I am with them.” Matthew 18:20

Before you leave today, please #PrayItForward by lifting up one or more of the requests in front of yours. Then be sure to click the “I PRAYED FOR THIS” button to let the requester know you prayed for them.

Thanks to everyone for who prayed for me.  It is so encouraging to get a notice in my email indicating someone prayed for me.  Blessings to all Chronic Joy prayer warriors. ~  Edna

My sister has a form of blood cancer. Presently she is going through a rough period in her journey and I request prayer for her and that God may be glorified in her cancer journey. That His will, not mine, will be done for His glory. I ask for her physical strength, spiritual strength and emotional peace.

UPDATE on my sister-in-law, Ruth. Her first few days home from the hospital were rough as she had trouble with some meds. That's been cleared up now and as of today she is feeling better, slowly regaining strength. She has a home health care nurse check on her several times a week and also physical therapy. Please pray for continued healing and strength. Thank you!

I have battled depression for an extremely long time. It includes anxiety and panic. I was stable for quiet some time, until recently coming off the medicine and having to almost immediately be put back on.

I’m grateful to God that He has His healing hands on you and I. Also, for His grace and mercy through this process. I’m asking for prayers please for His divine healing and restoration in my mind and body. It has been a rough five weeks so far trying to feel well and stable. Please also pray for a family healing.

Thank you so much and God bless you.

My partner, Emma, is the most depressed I have ever seen her. I am part of the problem, so she can get no solace from me. I can only pray that this leaves her.

Please pray for her to feel better and more encouraged about the future.

Please pray for me, so that I can be the person she needs and deserves.

I am dealing with health issues and have for a long time. I am stiff, achy, tired. It seems somewhat related to my hormone cycle and that’s all over the place too with it not being regular. I have tried so many things and had doctors dismiss me as just being fat. My thyroid is off and I’ve been treated but the medicine makes me sick as well so I am breaking the meds in half to try to feel better. I’m just tired and worn down from trying to lose weight and feel better, to be honest.

My husband suffers from depression, is a pastor and he runs a recovery center for men in addiction. Please join me in praying for complete deliversance from this, peace and understanding for me as it often brings me down, as I don't know how to help him but to pray. Thank you.
