Relationships with chronically ill people, whether they are partners, friends, or family members can be difficult and are opportunities to love like Jesus.
There’s no doubt that chronic illness affects relationships. Sometimes the most important thing we can do is realize that, accept it, and move on. While we can’t choose health instead of chronic illness, we can choose how we respond to it.
If love is forever, what is one troubling year or month or decade? Love is a choice. It says there are more important things, we're in it for the long haul.
