I love to serve and be available for God, but over the past few years, there have been some necessary changes due to my illnesses. It frustrates me that what I am now able to offer seems like just a tiny raindrop. But I’ve come to see that our tiny raindrops of service can be like a crashing waterfall to God.
Our God is not indifferent to His people’s struggles. He does not turn away. He always has a plan. Expect the unexpected.
Our prayer is that you find encouragement as you read these words penned by people who struggle but are finding peace. May they and the other offerings in this Oasis of Hope help you deepen your faith and refresh you.
Waiting on the Lord should be an active decision of putting our trust in Him. In the waiting, then, we simply continue to live. We continue to create. We continue to love. We continue to learn and grow and do.
Scheduling time with God is not as hard as we sometimes think it might be. His timing is not our timing, but we can wait patiently and trust.
